Mažvydas Sculpture Park
(Between Liepų and Daukanto streets)
Mažvydo (Sculpture) park was established in 1970 in the old graveyard of city. Growing trees in the park: maples, limes, ashes, poplars, chestnuts, horn beams, oaks, hawthorns. Unique accent of this park is the oak alley. There is observed great diversity of birds. There is settled colony of rooks in the edge of the park (it located near Trilapio street). In the park you can see a lot of modern rock, wood and plaster sculptures, created in XX century in the second half in Lithuania. There are two the most important monuments: a memorial - to those who died in the fight against fascist Germany, and a monument to those who died in 1923 during the uprising of Klaipėda. In 1986, the park was published as the local natural monument.

The Botanical Garden of Klaipeda University (KU) is situated in the northern part of the city of Klaipeda, in the valley of the Dane River. In general, the width of the area is 9.3 hectares. This territory is important by its historical past. In June 1802, an important event occurred at the Estate near this territory. Here, the well-known Prussian king, Frederic Wilhelm III, and his wife Louise, had a meeting with the Russian emperor, Alexander I. Thus occurred the first Prussian and Russian monarchs’ meeting, since the time of Frederic I and Peter-the-Great. As a tribute to this long friendship, born right here, between two monarchs, there was established a park for remembrance. Now, there are situated a Botanical Garden.
Since the establishment of the Botanical Garden in 1993, ornamental and other valuable plants are collected. They are exhibited in three collections: dendrological, medicinal and spice plants, and herbaceous ornamental plants (perennial and annual flowers). A rock garden was established for trees and shrubs, and propagation of flowers. There are about three thousand (3,000) taxa in the living plant collections.

* "Trinyčių" park
Trinyčių park is one of most expressive parks in the Klaipėda. There were located Joniškės (Janischken), Būtsargių (Budsargen) and Justenhofo (Justenhof) homesteads in eighteen century. Nowadays, the plants of Trinyčiai reminds the old days of these homesteads. There are these species of trees: plain and small-leaved limes, fragile willow, plain maple, boxelder maple and plain ash. There are growing valuable bushes in the park. An important accent of the park and landscape - a pond, referred to the sixteenth century as a Mill pond. It was a part of the Danė river branches. Later, were was build the dam. Pond coastal is overgrowned with the reeds, bulrushes, sweet flags, sedges, iris. There are many aquatic plants: nuphar, elodea, arrowhead, duckweed. Citizens enjoy feeding ducks, swans. Visitors can see beavers and musk-rats in this park.
* "Draugystės" park
The park is located in the southern city of Klaipėda. This is the former area of Gedminų (Gotzhofen) landed property. After the war, survived manor farm buildings were pulled down but the main building was renovated and adapted to the educational institution in 1978. The former manor territory was adapted to the needs of rest of the population. There are growing not only native trees. One of the most valuable plants in the park: plain and red oaks, plain beech, European larch, chestnut tree, large-leaved lime and others. The major part of the park area is dominated by half aged trees. The northern part of the park is formed a little bit too dense, but it is quite attractive landscape with plain chestnut, red oak, the large-leaved limes. The southern part of the park, the pond and Balsio art gymnasium distinguish mature trees - plain oaks, beeches, small-leaved limes. There is valuable checnut alley. In the central part of the park are growing ashes, fir trees, birches. There is arranged bicycle path.
* "Treko" park
The park is near St. Casimirs church. Territory of park was the part of royal grove. There are growing alder trees and horn beams, small-leaved and large-leaved limes, oaks and maples. The plain beech is one of the most valuables trees in this park. The ripe small-leaved limes, growing on both sides of St. Casimirs church. This is valuable group of plain oaks in this park.
* The park by the Reikjaviko and Smiltelės streets
The park is interesting with its landscape elements. In the western part of the park is the nameless pond, in the eastern - is the hill (the same name as the nearest street - Simonaitytės hill). There are ripe and new plant trees around park. Most of the trees of the park, for example, plain ashes, alders are really impressive sizes. Their trunks are around 3 - 4 meters. There are growing black lace and bird cherry.
