The Tall Ships Races regatta 2017

The Tall Ships Races regatta 2017

In 2017, from the 29th of July to the 1st of August, hundreds of sails will once again decorate Klaipėda. Dozens of ships will sail to the port city from various countries of the world.

The tradition of the tall ships races and regatta has been upheld for more than 70 years already. It encourages the development of young people by inviting them to gain sailing skills. Continuing this tradition, the next year regatta ships encourage young people aged 15-25 to become the members of international crews and go on a marine adventure.

Regatta host ports and dates:

    1. (Sweden) 30 June - 3 July
    1. (Finland) 13 - 16 July
    1. (Finland) 20 - 23 July
    1. (Lithuania) 29 July - 1 August
    1. (Poland) 5 - 8 August
