The Sea Festival, which marks the middle of the summer, is a synonym for an abundance of events, great mood, and, of course, holidays. The biggest and one of the most lively summer festivals in Lithuania is a great place for new discoveries and for meeting new people. From the 28th to 30th of July, for the 58th time, the Sea Festival will bring together thousands of people who appreciate the sea and its traditions. The festival encourages people to take pride in Lithuania being a maritime nation and its only port city Klaipėda being a Baltic port that has deep maritime traditions.
The inspirational and lively Sea Festival invites Klaipėda residents and its guests.
Like every year, the Sea Festival will begin with a grand march that will bring together dozens of companies, institutions, and organisations as well as thousands of participants and spectators. It is the third year that the Sea Festival march is fostered by Arvydas Vaitkus, the Chief Executive of Klaipėda State Seaport Authority.
In the recent years, the Sea Festival has impressed the guests with unexpected transformations of the Old Town. The guests of the festival may spend time at THE CINEMA SQUARE, STREET OF TASTES, TOURISM STREET, JONAS’ HILL AND DANCING FOUNTAINS, THEATRICALISED FLEET, and, naturally, at the amazingly transformed THEATRE SQUARE in the homely Old Town.
The three days of the festival may become the most charming and spectacular summer adventure!
